This tired bathroom, toilet & laundry arrangement was in need of a renovation & an interior designer!

Kates Bathroom Before

Originally done in the mid 80’s, then given a quick facelift in the late 90’s, the time had come for real change.

I enlisted the services of Astute Bathrooms, Geelong to oversee & complete the work in just over 2 weeks.

Not wanting my client to have to spend extra money moving the services I designed the bathroom, toilet & laundry back into the basic foot print, except we did away with the bath in favor of a more storage & a much larger shower.

The vanity & toilet were left in exactly the same position, but I extended the vanity wall to wall & gave it more depth. The addition of an above counter basin offered greater storage space, in the cupboards beneath. Proper ventilation was also added along with flush LED lighting & a twin rail shower.

My client wanted a simple, timeless look so I went with White Gloss Subway wall tiles with matching grout & Hexatile floor tiles in Gris with Classic White Sheen Polytech cabinets & Caesarstone Sleek Concrete bench tops. The Axa basin, Kubus tapware & semi frameless shower screen, finished the look.
