My client had originally renovated her bathroom in the early 1990s but 20 years on she was ready to update again. The split level was a nuisance as was the pokey shower over bath arrangement & the french doors would no longer open!
As usual I enlisted the services of Astute Bathrooms, Geelong. I regularly work in with Peter from Astute Bathrooms on bathroom projects. I cover the interior design elements & selections whilst Peter coordinates the demolition & build.
We elected to do away with the bath completely in favour of a large walk in shower with a frameless glass screen & a niche lined with handmade feature tiles from Perini Tiles
The old fashioned shower head was replaced with a luxurious twin rail.
The raised section of flooring was lowered & the old painted doors were replaced with larger cedar doors.
The dated mahogany cabinetry was replaced with a combination of beech veneer & Caesarstone Alpine Mist making the room fresher, lighter & brighter.
& some quirky hooks add some personality.
