Just south of Hobart, interior designer Kylie Sargent worked her magic to transform this humble 80s South Arm holiday shack into a modern day retreat. With a focus on staying within a tight budget a complete makeover was achieved.
The once-dull beige walls, bricks and yellowing timber doors, skirtings, and architraves were revitalized with a fresh coat of Dulux® Lexicon Quarter, while the front door received a stylish touch with Dulux® Monument. Experience the stunning transformation brought to life by interior designer Kylie Sargent in this charming retreat near Hobart.

The filthy old carpet was replaced with timber look sheet vinyl to the living areas & the bedrooms were then carpeted in a hardy but stylish loop pile solution dyed nylon carpet.
To keep costs down, in the kitchen I opted for laminate benchtops in Laminex® Tinted Paper Terrazzo rather than stone & then added a feature oak cabinetry pulls & a solid oak shelf.
The bathroom & ensuite were fitted with semi customized compact ADP vanities which again fitted the budget but look like custom joinery. All the tapware was replaced with simply chrome fittings & the Caroma Luna Cleanflush® toilets were installed.
